We build places and things.
But we’re also building something more challenging and enduring: a team that works SMARTER + HARDER + SAFE + TOGETHER.
We are building our team by harnessing the strength of AND (+), realizing that we only deliver our promise when we do all three things TOGETHER.
Safety First + Always
From project planning to employee training, we build safety into every process.
We’re In The People Business
The commitments we make to our customers are only as good as the team putting them into action. So we hire the best, and encourage their personal and professional growth throughout their careers at CH+N Site Construction. We know that with the right people around us, we can take on anything in front of us.
Our Leadership Team
-
President
Matt Eshelman
President
Matt was first drawn to construction at the age of 13, when the campground where he worked was having some excavation done. Matt asked if the crew needed a hand, and he hasn’t looked back in the 25 years since.
When Matt joined CH+N, he was just the fourth member of our team. That was back in 2006—and since then, Matt’s construction know-how and supportive leadership have helped us win more business and deliver on our promise to a growing roster of fantastic clients.
Matt loves spending his free time traveling with his wife—and sampling as much craft beer as they can along the way.
Why do you love working at CH+N Site?
I’m blessed to be surrounded by a lot of really good people. These guys show up because they believe in what we’re doing and want to be more. They show up wanting to excel. The best part of my job is getting to work with them.

Director of Estimating
Mark Sellers
Director of Estimating
Like so many of our leaders, Mark started his construction career on the job site, learning the trade. And in the 30+ years since, he’s gained an impressive range of experience across the industry. As Estimating Manager, Mark draws on this knowledge to estimate accurately and spot opportunities to save time and money for our clients.
A strategist at heart, Mark loves the challenge of looking at a project from every angle: the size, the location, the cubic yards of fill, the crew required, and every detail in between.
When the weekend rolls around, you’ll find Mark on the water, taking the family tubing or chasing striper on the Chesapeake.

With nearly two decades of experience managing construction projects, Dave is the key link between our customers and our operations team. He also oversees all project planning, ensuring goals and expectations are clear for each of our operations teams.
Both Dave and his wife are avid skiers, and every winter, they enjoy finding time to log some vertical miles in Vermont.

Today, he’s focused on building a nimble team that can take on an ambitious range of projects. Jerry is skilled at helping customers envision the final product—and determined to get every detail right.
An outdoorsman at heart, Jerry spends his weekends chasing bass, whitetails, turkey, and bear.

Operation Manager
Joe Fulmer
Operation Manager
Joe leads our operation team with a natural ability to inspire those around him—and a meticulous approach to planning each project. But he also knows that, no matter how much planning anyone does, we work in an industry where unexpected situations are a guarantee.
For Joe, that’s part of the appeal. He embraces unplanned scenarios and unforeseen snags as opportunities to solve problems. To him, it’s the most interesting part of the job. Joe also has a passion for heavy equipment, and he ensures we always have the right mix of tools available to keep operations moving.
Unable to satisfy his thirst for moving dirt, Joe can be found most weekends on his tractor or working outside.
Why do you love working at CH+N Site?
“The diversity of the work we do. As the Operation Manager, I get to see all the jobs going on at any time. I get to see the progress as it happens.”

Safety Director
Adam Hill
Safety Director
For as long as he can remember, Adam has loved building, fixing, and tackling tough challenges. But it wasn’t until attending the Indiana University of Pennsylvania that he realized he could balance his desire for fast-paced problem solving with another passion: taking care of the people around him.
Adam graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental Applied Sciences. Today, he leads all safety initiatives across our company, striving to be more than “the guy with the clipboard waiting to catch you.” He believes that being a good safety director means being a good coach, and he encourages our team to share their thoughts, questions, and concerns proactively.
After hours, Adam is a mountain biking fanatic—averaging 1,000+ miles of trails each year.
Why do you love working at CH+N Site?
“Everyone is so willing to learn, so ready to chip in and work hard. And the company really cares about people.”
